Wilson Reading's Fundations

Fundations is a Tier 1 or Tier 2 intervention that can be used whole group, small group, or one on one. At DCL we will be using it as a Tier 2 intervention for students in Kindergarten through third grade whole are struggling to learn to read. This program is a Wilson Reading Program which follows the Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching reading. Orton-Gillingham approach to reading has shown to be the most effective for students with Language-based reading disabilities such as Dyslexia.

Bridges Math Intervention

Bridges is an intervention that is ideal for small group instruction from The Math Learning Center. Their product is made up of 9 volumes that target k-5 math concepts that are imperative for student to be successful in math.

Our Belief

We believe that ALL students can learn. The key to learning is creating an individualized plan for learning and building connections.
We believe that it is also the instructor's job to help parents understand their students' unique needs and learning styles.
We believe that educational professionals (teachers, OT, PT, Speech ect) and parents must work together to help students be successful.
